The dose per capsule is lower than most similar supplements, which is not such a bad thing as you can take multiple to give you the desired amount. The capsules are very easy to swallow. They don't look or seem any different to any others you might take so consuming them is not a problem. Taking this supplement over a couple of weeks definitely seems to have had the usual beneficial effect of turmeric consumption. Black pepper is also present in a small quantity. I've consumed many different turmeric supplements over the years and this one is typical and compares well to any of the others.The packaging suggest that precautions are taken to avoid cross-contamination, but that the manufacturing facility 'handles allergy-based materials', without saying what the allergens are.The best before date was 33 months away from the date of delivery.
I've been taking Tumeric and black pepper tablets for years and my old bottle had just ran out so I was happy to order this. You get sent 1 bottle with 120 capsules. I like to take 2 a day so that's almost 2 months worth of supply for me. The capsules themselves are a good size and easy to swallow. There is a slight smell when you open the bottle (as expected) but the capsules have no taste when swallowed. I like the fact this is manufactured and checked in the UK, and I really like the shape of the bottle as it fitted through my letter box and fits neatly in the cupboard taking up little space. I'm pleased I ordered these.
I've not heard of this brand before, so it's hard to gauge quality - but from initial looks, the turmeric seems to be legit based on the stain test. The capsules are easy to swallow and relatively tasteless; the container is pretty standard for this type of supplement (I'd always prefer glass, but appreciate that this would increase the price).The combination of black pepper with turmeric has been shown to be more effective than turmeric alone in reducing oxidative stress & inflammation. Bioperine is a more concentrated extract, so one would assume it will use the same mechanism to improve the biological effects of turmeric.500mg is a reasonable amount, but the upper limit has been found to be around 8g/day, so you can experiment at a higher dosage if no benefits are noticed. It is a bit expensive given the amount of turmeric, so it might be worth comparing to other brands!
I got this Turmeric 500mg with Black Pepper Extract that contains 120 capsules. They are easy to swallow being about 2cm long in a smooth capsule & I have a picture of one by a ruler so you can see the size. I like the flat container because it fits through a letter box and is also easier to store in the cupboard or on a shelf etc. with it being flat. The capsules have a mild turmeric smell on opening the container and removing the seal. The lid pulls off quite easily, so the container needs to be stored in a safe place.The ingredients are listed as Turmeric Root Powder, Capsule Shell Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Black Pepper & I like the fact they don’t contain any fillers. The expiry date was December 2028 on the ones I got, so a good long date to use them by.This supplement is manufactured in the UK under controlled standards which is good to know. These capsules are apparently suitable for vegans and vegetarians and also gluten free.

These are the larger type of capsules which consist of the powders inside a fairly standard gelatin capsule. They are easy enough to swallow, the gelatin makes the capsule quite slippery. I like the fact that these are UK manufactured in a way that's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant and are tested after manufacture. having worked in GMP compliant environment myself its a decent standard that should receive regular audits. The product seems to contain just the two actives (turmeric/black pepper) with no additives. Its easy to find out more about the manufacturer by checking out their website. Whether turmeric does have the claimed benefits is up to the individual to make a judgement call on, real proof is hard to obtain. Personally I think as you will find the same stuff in food products its unlikely to do any harm if manufactured correctly. 500mg is on the lower end of the range of dosage often suggested (directions on the product suggest 1-3 per day) but you do get 3 months worth if you only take one a day.

There is a distinctive peppery odour from the tub but the capsules themselves are tasteless and easy to swallow.Even allowing for variations in the amounts of turmeric (in grams) in the various capsules I have tried, I have noticed a lot of variation in the recommended daily dosages. In this case, it's 1-3 capsules daily.
