I already take supplements so I find it quite easy to take capsules. These particular ones are smaller than average. They're about 20 mm in length and 5 mm in diameter. They go down pretty easily. The capsules have no apparent sent to them which is nice.The packaging is a bit different from usual in that it is flat rather than a cylinder. This actually saves quite a bit of space and I welcome it. The lid is easy to get on and off and there was a metallic seal beneath the lid to make sure that there had been no tampering.I've come straight from one vitamin d3 supplements to this and of noticed no difference in my health as a result so either they both work or neither worked!The price is pretty reasonable for 90 capsules and I do like the packaging. I think it's quite good, especially if you're travelling a lot just being able to slip it in the pocket of a bag.

Particularly like the slim line bottle which could easily fit through letterboxes and involves no screw top lid so easy to open. Vitamins are assured to have been through rigorous tests making them high quality which I find very reassuring and are of a size which is easy to swallow. I’ve just finished my first week of these ICEVIT D3 & K2 capsules and so far I’m really pleased with the quality. The blister pack is easy to open, and the capsules aren’t too big to swallow. It’s still early days, so I can’t say much about the effects yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing how I get on over the coming weeks. These are good vitamin D3 capsules. They are a very high dosage, small and easy to swallow. The extra slim packaging makes them very easy to carry. Good to see that they are UK made, GF and vegetarian (unlike so many capsules). They do seem to have the desired effect, but this is always hard to quantify, and no undesirable side effects! Personally, due to the very high dosage per tablet, I think one every other day will be quite sufficient, meaning the pack will last 180 days, making them very good value.

If you are going to take vitamin D then it's best to also take vitamin K, particularly K2 MK-7. The vitamin D3 helps with absorption of calcium and the K2 directs that calcium to your bones supporting bone density and stopping the calcium from being deposited in your arteries. Vitamin D3 is fat soluble so it is recommended to take this supplement with food.This supplement has 3000iu of D3 plus 100iu of K2 MK-7 in an easy to swallow capsule form. It's nice to see that they are made in the UK to GMP standards, are gluten free, non-GMO and suitable for vegetarians. The tub contains 90 capsules which are taken at a dose of 1 per day giving a 90 day supply. The D3 quantity is quite high at 3000iu, this is below the recommended daily limit of 4000iu but well above the recommended dose of 600iu for most people so I think that you could take these every other day making the tub last for 6 months and still get a good dose, especially given that D3 is fat soluble and stored in the body.Overall this is a high quality, high strength supplement made in the UK for a reasonable price. I'm happy with it and would recommend it.
I got these for my mum who is in her mid eighties. The capsules are small and easy to swallow - reassuring for me as she has some elements of muscle dysfunction in her throat now, post stroke. Noticeable benefits, particularly for her bone health and flexibility after only a couple of weeks. The slim, flat packaging is good, and easier to shove in a handbag or suitcase. I, personally, like the fact that it’s vegetarian and gluten-free. Additionally it’s made in the UK. A small and effective supplement that it looks like she’ll continue to use. Fairly pricey, but as they seem to work, maybe worth the price.
The expiry is long - mine is 2028. Small and easy to take. Slim packaging to store easily, and letterbox friendly. Don't be afraid of the high doseage of this D3 supplement. My nutritionist recommends taking vitamin D year round, not just in the winter. And especially if you’re fair skinned or red headed, both of which I am. It’s also important to have enough vitamin D to enable calcium absorption. He tells me that it’s actually quite hard to overdo vitamin D. The NHS recommend around half this dose, to ensure you're not deficient. But my nutritionist recommends 4000iu a day - for optimisation. So this is quite good in that respect. Love that this is combined with K2 MK-7 which I've been reading more about lately and seems to blend very well with D3. 90 days for £6.99 is ok.
Really pleased with this find. They're a really nice size, really small and easy to swallow, which is great for me as I've got muscle dysfunction in my throat.I use to take 4000 of vit d3 and i found it was just a tad too much. So these are 3000 and it's that little bit less but the perfect balance. I do wish the k2 was ever so slightly higher but either way I'm really happy with these and I'm really feeling the benefits. I take high dose vit d3 all year round, even in the summer as I have osteoporosis and a full time wheelchair user.
